This month Featured Producer is one of my FAVORITE Producers of all time,somebody I look up to as a Artist/Musician. As a matter of fact, when I first met JR. in South Carolina, it was his testimony that push me to dream big and go for it. IMO a lot of people (a least in the urban culture) slept on his 2 albums Metamorphosis and Life By Stereo. He was before our time but,now we have no choice but to catch up with JR. Cross Movement Records is pleased to announce that acclaimed hip hop recording artist The Tonic has received a Grammy nomination in the Best Rock or Rap Gospel Album category for his debut solo project, The Dash. The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards will take place Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Calif. The Grammy Awards, which celebrate the year's best and brightest in music as voted on by The Recording Academy's membership of music professionals, will be broadcast on the CBS Television Network at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT).
