Demaries is an artist with a voice tuned for change. While many look for an artist that can bring various vocal acrobatics, often at the expense of a rooted message, she fills a void that looms large in the Gospel arena. To borrow a phrase I've seen around, she is about substance over swagger and change over cheers. Hailing from New Orleans, Demaries has plenty to draw from in her life's experiences to share on her album, Let Go. We'll take a closer look below.

An anointed vocalist, Demaries has been compared to secular artist such as Mary J. Blige as well as Gospel Music artist Maurette Brown Clark, just to name a few.. Known for her “hit home” words that encompass every verse of her songs, her main goal is not to bring glory to herself, instead Glory to God. Demaries encourages her listeners to continue in the things of God. She tells listeners her story -what she’s gone through in life but how at the end of the day she knew where to turn - GOD. Demaries was first female vocalist and only female rapper for the group Sounds Minds Music. She’s opened for such gospel greats as the anointed Earnest Pugh as well as shared the stage with the likes of Double Portion and B.L.U.E, The Warriors- ATX, Gifted da Flame Throwa, and Urban D. She’s also a worship leader at her home church Smoking for Jesus Ministry of Burnet, TX.

She began singing at age 5 in the church. Being able to witness a lifestyle of uncompromising, unyielding faith and commitment to God’s Word through her parents Pastor Willie and Min. Claudette Monnet, it was no wonder that she would one day be used a vessel of God through her music ministry.
Demaries will be the first to let her listeners know that she is not super-human as well as some of the obstacles she’s overcome in life. Excerpts from her testimony: “At the age of 14, I left home and had my first child by age 16.The enemy had just begun his job ruining my life and testimony.” With the hip-hop infused beats of “Like Dat” and the title track “Let Go” and the soulful ballad of “Cry 4U”, listeners are sure to be encouraged and blessed.

Although she shows great humility, Demaries is not afraid to genesis refreshing music that speaks to the heart, consumes the mind and blesses the souls of a nation filled with despair, depression, life and spiritual issues. Now with the release of her debut album, Let Go, Demaries is ready to take ministry and music to the next level through her anointed expressions of the love of Christ.
